About Oluwaferanmi
I Oluwaferanmi, a master tutor, currently teaches 11th-grade Mathematics and 9th-grade Calculus. He has experience teaching grades 9-12, including Algebra and General arithmetic, as well as Calculus's major works. I have extensive tutoring and test prep experience. I have assisted many student in preparing for the SAT and ACT exams. In addition, I have assisted students in preparing for the ISEE, SSAT, and WrAP exams. I take my time to carefully explain and break down content in a way that is palatable because I feels that many students are intimidated by the daunting quantity and quality of academia that is aligned with standardized testing; part of my job is alleviating that intimidation by breaking down the test and dissecting it piece by piece with the students. I am very skilled at refining Formulas and guiding students through the application process. I see myself as a facilitator of precise arithmetic and critical calculation. I immerse myself along with my students in the art of working arithmetic without aid of calculator. My students have shown growth in their test-taking abilities and they enjoy my energetic enthusiasm; making questions/content relevant to students which helps tremendously in their retention of information. I value independent practice work in order to maintain consistency and promote diligent work habits. I cater to the cognitive needs of all students.
