About Faith
I am a dedicated flute tutor who believes that learning music should be both enjoyable and meaningful. My teaching focuses on creativity, mentorship, and accountability. I help students improve tone, phrasing, rhythm, and breath control while encouraging expressive playing. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and listening skills to build complete musicianship. Creativity is a central part of my lessons, including improvisation, composition, and musical storytelling. Accountability ensures students set goals, practise regularly, and monitor their progress. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities and steps toward improvement. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, skill level, and learning style. I act as a mentor, offering guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback. Lessons balance technical skill-building with creative activities to keep learning engaging. I emphasise reflection, problem-solving, and independent thinking in all sessions. My goal is to build confidence, independence, and a love for music in every student. I also teach related subjects such as performance preparation, rhythm, and theory. I create a positive and inspiring environment where students feel supported. Every lesson is designed to help students become expressive, confident, and passionate musicians.

Creativity and accountability are the heart of my flute teaching method. I believe that every student can learn and grow when guided with patience and understanding. My lessons are designed to help students think critically, practise effectively, and perform confidently. I mentor each student individually to build both skill and self-belief. Accountability keeps lessons structured—I help students plan goals and review progress regularly. I make learning interactive by using creative exercises and musical challenges. Each class includes tone work, rhythm, and expressive playing. I also include theory and listening activities to strengthen musical knowledge. I believe music should inspire curiosity and imagination. I encourage students to explore different styles and create their own interpretations. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and I teach students how to use them for improvement. My lessons adapt to different learning speeds and goals. I make sure that every student feels encouraged and supported. I promote steady practice habits for lasting results. I also teach related subjects like music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills. My goal is to help students find joy in playing the flute and confidence in their musical journey.
