About Alexis

For the past 8 years, I’ve helped school and college students learn guitar in a way that feels exciting and achievable. I believe every student has unique talents, and my job is to help them discover and grow those talents through music. I mix basic theory, practical skills, and creativity in every lesson, making sure students stay engaged and motivated. One of the biggest moments in my career was helping a group of my students form a band that went on to perform in local festivals. Watching their confidence grow through music was unforgettable. I love seeing how learning guitar helps students become more focused, expressive, and happy.

About the lesson

My guitar teaching method is based on understanding each student as an individual. Everyone learns differently, and I believe that the best results come from personalized lessons built on motivation, creativity, and open communication. Students are encouraged to bring their own musical tastes and ideas to class, and together, we shape a learning path that works just for them.

Motivation plays a big role in this journey. Guitar can be challenging at times, so I make sure to always keep the environment supportive, uplifting, and full of small wins. When students see their own progress, they stay excited and ready to learn more. We use real music from day one, and lessons are filled with interactive tasks that mix learning with fun.

Communication is clear and respectful. I explain every step in easy language, take time to listen to students’ concerns, and adjust lessons as needed. Integrity is part of every class. I show up prepared, give honest advice, and focus on helping students succeed in a way that builds trust and respect.

Creativity adds life to our lessons. Whether it’s through improvisation, songwriting, or exploring different guitar styles, students are invited to express themselves in new ways. I also teach related music subjects that support their guitar skills. This includes basic theory, timing, and ear development. Through this approach, students not only become strong guitarists but also confident and passionate musicians.
