About Amrita

I'm Amrita, a UK-based school teacher with 2 decades of experience teaching in a range of educational settings, mainstream and Specialist. Although I absolutely love my role as a school teacher, sadly, there appears to be very little allocated time, nor focus on teaching children the skills and knowledge that I passionately believe transform and empower children and young people to lead happier and more fulfilled lives. I'm a mother to three boys and I have dedicated myself to raising them through my mindful-based parenting style - at the ages of 15, 12 and 9 years they all have a strong sense of self, are happy and confident and are able to navigate through challenges with confidence and trust in themselves. I have also taught my students with SEMH challenges to navigate away from anxious thoughts, low self-esteem, vaping addiction and many others.... How, I hear you ask?! Through teaching them holistic education, such as mindfulness, breathwork, EFT yoga and coaching fuelled by my lifetime passion of positive psychology! I am passionate about the work that I do and I cannot wait for you to experience my teachings and begin your transformation to a happier, calmer and more aligned version of yourself. I am really looking forward to teaching your beautiful children the skills that will support them in feeling happier, empowered & confident, whilst celebrating themselves as unique individuals in this rather strange world! Please note I also offer family systems facilitation sessions, working with parents and children to support them in nurturing and reconnecting with each other through implementing mindfulness-based systems and practices into both the family home and life. About the lesson

Thank you for visiting my profile. I'm Amrita, a UK-based Holistic Educator with two decades of experience teaching in mainstream and specialist provision schools in the UK. I am passionate about teaching children, young people and families how to embrace a more fulfilling life through teaching mindfulness-based holistic wellness. My lessons usuy last between 45 minutes to 1hr. I incorporate both theory and practice into each session ensuring positive engagement and support throughout. I hold an enhanced DBS and Qualified Teaching Status as well as being registered with the following bodies: Yoga Alliance EFT International BHMA British Association of Holistic Medicine & Healthcare IAOHT International Association of Holistic Therapists I am deeply passionate about the work that I do, as I truly believe that through embracing holistic wellness, learning to adjust our lifestyles and mindset, we can uncover a better, happier version of ourselves, ultimately leading to a more fulfilled life experience. I really look forward to meeting you in my sessions.
