About Patricia
My name is Patricia, a professional painter, art facilitator with a background in Art Education/History of Art (Rio de Janeiro State University, BA), and therapeutic art coach. Apart from my proficiency in painting and drawing, my artistic journey encompasses a range of creative languages such as dance, theatre, music, design, and writing (both fiction and poetry). I had the privilege to serve as an art teacher in schools and art centers, and have designed and facilitated visual arts and experiential astrology workshops, both presential and online.

Therapeutic Art Coaching offers a non-clinical method of art therapy designed to foster mental and emotional well-being. It provides a cathartic means of expressing and processing our inner thoughts and emotions. When we bring the invisible to the conscious level through images, we are able to work on our emotions more efficiently, recreating beliefs and finding new perspectives on old issues. TAC does not require any artistic skills to benefit from the sessions. The focus is not on the final product, but on the experience, the reflecting upon the process itself and all the discoveries that it can lead to.
In my sessions, I utilize an integrative approach that applies symbolic languages like astrology and the tarot to help tap into your energy, amplifying my vision of your potential and challenges. My background in a spectrum of artistic languages will conduct you through a unique experience involving varied ways of creative expression, from painting to movement. Activities will be especially tailored to your specific goals. Together we will explore the plans of emotion/intuition/imagination, letting the process unfold as you in contact with yourself in a safe, free, and playful way.
My Art Coaching services are created for:
- People in self-awareness or therapeutic process, who wish to obtain new insights about themselves;
- People who want to unleash or develop their creativity in a purposeful way;
- People who wish to express themselves, relieve stress, and help with dealing with overwhelming emotions like fear or anxiety;
