About Dev
Moving into 1st year for Maths at Warwick. Did Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at NCS, one of the best state schools in the country.
I play semi-pro cricket, understanding how to balance getting high grades with other life commitments. I've always enjoyed helping other people understand things that they once found difficult. There's something really rewarding about seeing a topic suddenly click for someone and watching their confidence grow.
During my A-levels, I often helped friends with Maths and other subjects, and I really enjoyed explaining concepts in different ways until they made sense. It showed me that everyone learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is someone explaining it from a different perspective.
I also know how stressful exams can be, having been through them recently myself. I want to help students not only improve their grades but also feel more confident in their own abilities. If I can make subjects feel less intimidating and help someone reach their goals, that's something I'm genuinely proud to be part of.

I know that everyone learns differently, so I like to keep my lessons relaxed and adapt them to what works best for you. Whether you're aiming to improve your confidence, boost your grades, or push for the highest marks, we'll focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference.
Having recently finished my A-levels, I know exactly what it's like to prepare for exams and which topics students often find the hardest. I'll explain things in a way that makes sense, rather than expecting you to memorise methods without understanding them. My goal is to help you genuinely understand the content, because that makes exam questions much less intimidating.
We'll spend our lessons however you need them—going over difficult topics, working through past paper questions, improving exam technique, or tackling homework together. You're always welcome to ask questions, no matter how small, and I'll make sure you're comfortable with a topic before moving on.
Most importantly, I want my lessons to be somewhere you feel comfortable making mistakes and asking for help. Learning is much easier when you don't feel under pressure, and seeing students grow in confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring.
