About Astral
I am a Weymouth-based sixth form student with an excellent academic record, having achieved grade 9s in all STEM subjects, including Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at GCSE. I am currently studying these subjects at A-level and working towards A* grades. Alongside strong subject knowledge, I bring a clear, structured, and professional approach to tutoring.
My teaching focuses on developing genuine understanding and confidence. I break down complex topics into clear, logical steps, ensuring students fully grasp key concepts before moving on. Lessons are carefully structured and tailored to each individual, with a balance of explanation, guided practice, and exam-style questions to build both knowledge and technique.

I have achieved 9s at GCSE in all STEM subjects, including Maths, Further Maths and Physics, and aiming for A*s at A-level. I have approximately a year prior experience providing tutoring privately.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE, KS3 and CE students, with a typical length of 60 minutes.
I focus on building strong understanding and confidence in every student. My teaching is structured but adaptable, ensuring each lesson is suited to the student’s pace and goals.
I believe in practising problem-solving and focusing on logical understanding. I use worked examples, guided practice, and regular questioning to check understanding. Lessons often include exam-style questions to develop technique and familiarity with mark schemes, helping students maximise their marks in assessments.
