About Isha
I'm Isha, an MBA candidate at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) with a background in Electrical Engineering and Information & Communication Technology from IIT Delhi, where I ranked in the 99.99th percentile nationally. Before Wharton, I spent five years at JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Quant Researcher, building and leading complex quantitative models worth over $1 billion in derivatives. I combine deep technical expertise with a clear, structured teaching style that makes even advanced concepts approachable and applicable.

My lessons are built around understanding, not memorization. I start every new student with a short diagnostic to pinpoint gaps and set a clear learning roadmap.
A typical session begins with a concept walkthrough using real-world examples — drawn from my experience in quantitative finance at JPMorgan — followed by guided problem-solving and independent practice. I cover a wide range of advanced quantitative topics including probability and statistics, linear algebra, regression analysis, optimization, time series, and financial modeling. My approach is rigorous but accessible: I break complex ideas into intuitive steps and adapt my pace to each student.
