The only place in the world where behavior science, data analytics, and sports come together to produce winning results. Our unique training program called Precision Athletics specializes in using applied behavior analysis along with expert coaching to build fluency in skills necessary to compete at a high level.
Our group or private session allow personal instruction on the fundamentals of basketball: shooting, passing, dribbling, and defending by working in different stations to create fluency in skills:
*Shaping: Breaking down each skill to ensure that it is preformed properly and effectively (15 minutes for each player)
*Independent: Working on skills learned in Shaping and applying it in a series of repetitious activities (15 minutes for each player)
*Frequency Building: Applying the skill on a rapid set of repetitions during a time frame aimed at creating a fluent learned skill
Sessions end with generalizing the learned skills in a simulated competition environment. All the time two experienced Certified Sports Behavior Coaches are providing instructional feedback and reinforcement to further along player growth. The critical difference is that all sessions will measure targeted skills to collect data that our Sports Behavior Analysts will graph to determine what sports interventions should be applied to increase the acceleration of the skill development for the athlete. All data collected are available to the athlete, parents, and coaches with recommendations
