About Evy
¡Hola! I am Evelyn, a dedicated Spanish Language Coach specializing in fast-tracked conversational fluency for English speakers.
Raised in Mexico City and educated here in the United States, I live at the intersection of both languages and cultures. This unique bicultural background allows me to bring the vibrant, universally understood standard Spanish of Mexico City into my lessons, while deeply understanding the exact linguistic hurdles and logic of English-speaking students.
I bypass rigid textbook memorization in favor of the Communicative Language Teaching approach. By structuring lessons around 90% comprehensible immersion and high-frequency language chunks, I help you acquire Spanish naturally. My students don't just memorize grammar charts-they learn to navigate real-world conversations, travel, and professional settings with authentic, native-level confidence.
