About Makya
I’m a licensed cosmetology instructor, entrepreneur, and homeschooling mom of five with over 25 years of experience teaching in both creative and academic settings. I offer lessons in cosmetology, barbering, nails, waxing, business marketing, and financial literacy, along with academic tutoring for children in grades PK–12th grade. My homeschool tutoring covers elementary math, reading, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, helping children not only master core subjects but also gain early exposure to real-world skills.

Feedback & Support – I provide constructive feedback and adjust the lesson if needed to ensure full understanding.
Action Steps/Homework – I give students a clear plan for practicing their skills between sessions.
