About Robert
After mentoring many students over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to observe what truly matters for long-term success. Age has never been the defining factor. What matters most is curiosity, passion for learning, and the willingness to pursue deeper understanding.
Through my mentorship, I hope students develop the confidence to think independently, build meaningful projects, and ultimately forge their own path as global leaders in the age of AI.

Why do so many students learn coding but struggle to build real projects?
Many students learn syntax but never learn how to think.
I work with motivated students, from elementary school to Ivy League universities, helping them master fundamental concepts and turn their interests into distinctive projects, portfolios, and real opportunities such as internships and research experiences.
What Makes This Program Different
1 Fundamentals First — and Done Right
Many students can write code but cannot explain why it works.
I don’t focus on memorizing syntax or producing quick results. Instead, students learn the reasoning behind data structures, the trade-offs between algorithms, and how to think about problems like engineers.
The goal isn’t simply to produce students who can code.
It’s to develop independent thinkers who can analyze problems, make decisions, and design solutions.
This thinking-centered approach has also been recognized publicly: my analysis of programming concepts was featured on the official blog of Herb Sutter, a leading figure in international software standards.
2 Turning Curiosity Into Real Outcomes
Many students accumulate activities but lack meaningful results.
I help students transform their interests into ambitious projects that combine computer science with fields such as mathematics, engineering, science, and even the arts.
These projects are designed to lead to real outcomes:
- university portfolios
- competitive research projects
- national and international competitions internships
Students I’ve mentored have built projects that led to opportunities such as U.S. internships, and students from institutions like KAIST (Korean MIT) and international high schools continue long-term mentorship.
3 Long-Term Mentorship
I have more than five years of teaching experience across private academies and university-level instruction.
My students range from elementary school learners to Ivy League undergraduates, and most continue working with me for one to two years, developing increasingly ambitious projects over time.

What Actually Predicts Success
After mentoring many students over the years, one pattern is clear: age isn’t the determining factor.
The students who succeed are the ones who are curious, persistent, and willing to think deeply.
My goal is to help students develop those habits—and build the kind of projects that prepare them to become thoughtful creators and leaders in the age of AI.
