About Roberto
Technical mastery of time value of money, cost of capital, and risk and return is often overrated without a practical mindset. While my BBA in Financial Engineering from MIT Sloan informs my methodology, I prioritize functional application over abstract theory.
I spend my time helping you navigate DCF valuation, financial statement analysis, capital budgeting, and bonds and equities. I confess that the first session is almost entirely focused on identifying your existing knowledge gaps in financial modeling. We spend the initial hour assessing your command of capital budgeting and bonds before moving into complex valuation metrics. My 8 years of experience teaching finance allow me to pivot quickly when a student struggles with specific concepts like DCF or cost of capital. Throughout our time together, you will engage with the same financial statement analysis techniques used by industry professionals.
I rely on my MIT Sloan training to provide a high level of technical detail in every explanation.
