My name is Kaan, and I specialize in helping students like you become comfortable using Turkish in real-life conversations. I teach using the Berlitz immersive method, meaning our lessons are 100% in Turkish from the very first minute. This method helps you think in Turkish, not just translate from your native language. With a focus on daily conversation, I design each lesson around real-life situations: ordering food, having casual chats, asking for directions, attending job interviews—whatever you need. You’ll get plenty of speaking time, personalized feedback, and practical expressions that native speakers actually use. • Berlitz Immersive Approach: Classes are conducted 100% in Turkish, even from the first minute, to immerse students in the language environment.
• Conversational Focus: Emphasis on speaking and listening; grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, not as isolated drills.
• Real-Life Scenarios: Lessons are designed around everyday situations (ordering food, shopping, job interviews, phone calls, etc.).
• Role-Playing & Dialogues: Use of simulated real-life conversations, role-plays, and improvisation to build fluency.
• Visual and Audio Aids: Use of images, short videos, Turkish songs, and podcasts to spark conversation and keep engagement high.
• Corrective Feedback: Gentle and immediate correction to help students develop accuracy without discouraging their speaking confidence.

A Typical Lesson Plan (60 Minutes)
1. Warm-Up (5-10 min)
• Casual conversation: “Nasılsın? Bugün neler yaptın?”
• Review of vocabulary or expressions from the previous session.
2. Introduction of Theme (5 min)
• Set the scene: “Bugünkü konumuz ‘Restoranda yemek siparişi vermek’.”
3. Contextual Vocabulary (10 min)
• Introduction of key phrases and expressions in context.
• Quick repetition drills to practice pronunciation.
4. Guided Conversation (20 min)
• Role-play: Student and teacher act out a situation using the new vocabulary.
• Scenarios become more complex based on student level.
5. Listening Practice (10 min)
• Play a short Turkish audio clip or video and discuss its content.
• Focus on understanding and using new expressions.
6. Wrap-Up and Homework (5 min)
• Recap what was learned.
• Assign a simple task (e.g., “Record yourself ordering food in Turkish and send it to me”).
