My teaching method is I take things slow. I break things down for the student so they don't get an overflow of information. And break it down to sections and then work up to solving it all together so they know how to do things in chunks so the don't get stressed. For example if theres and equation like 56+45÷98-23×5
I would get them to take out 45 and 98 and solve that first (0.46) then take the 23 and 5 and solve that (115) then put the0.46 back in the equation so 560.456=56.46 then subtract that last number56.46-115 = -58.54
