About Celia Si ie

I am a pianist and a cellist, who comes from a musical family. Graduated with MEd(MusEd) and BMus from Auckland University and through my past 30 years of working with music students internationally, I have gained extensive experience in teaching students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced learners. My specialties include music theory and piano, but I am proficient in several other instruments and possess a deep knowledge of various music styles.

About the lesson

Music theory is crucial to becoming a great musician. It's the study of how music works and what makes sounds work together or clash. Learning music theory is worth it because it gives you a theoretical framework to become a better musician. I will work with students of any level or age.
