About Lyra
Hello kids! My name is Ms. Lyra, and I love teaching English and Chinese! I'm originally from China, and has lived in the US for over 10 years. I love reading, writing, cooking, gardening and inspiring souls like you! I look forward to having you in my classroom!
I have 7 years of teaching experience. I'm TESOL certified and I'm also a Microsoft certified Innovative Educator. I've taught at VIPKid, Tao Learning, etc. Besides language, I can also design website, and know how to create products.
I love inspiring children to be the best version they could possibly be, and I hope you will be the next one!

Ms. Lyra is a very friendly and kind international teacher. She is originally from China and has lived in the US for about 10 years.
She has been teaching ESL online for 7 years, and she still loves teaching children. She has traveled internationally - Hong Kong, Japan, Hawaii, New York, San Francisco and many more! She loves to inspire children to be the best version of they can possibly be.
She believes in experimental learning, therefore, she teaches very practical knowledge - which means knowledge students will definitely be able to use once they learn it.
Because of Ms. Lyra’s multi-cultural background, as well as her experience in the education & technology industry, I’m sure students will be inspired and enjoy learning with Ms. Lyra.
