I will work with grade school children in reading and home work at the East Chicago Pastrick Library
Methodology
I'm a Medical Assistant EKG Tech and Bilingual I have worked with grade school children in improving their reading skills and helping with homework needed and theirmgrades have improved. I'm also the Vice-President of ECHO in East Chicago that has worked with our children to improve their reading skills and have worked with Children in forming Student Advisory Board's.
Background
I have taught about 30 students. In reading skills I take one paragraph at a time and have the student explain to me what they have read., as they progress I increase to two paragraphs and they express what they have read etch. Until the lesson has been finished. Then I test them on the theme of what they have read . What was the most important part to them so they will explain and a short test is given for every book they have read.I have worked with children for about 5 years.
