About William
My name is William MacIntosh, and I've been a professional driving instructor for 6 years. I'm fully certified and insured, with additional training in teaching anxious or mature learners. I've helped everyone from 17-year-olds taking their first lesson to professionals in their 60s who need to drive for work or independence. My students trust me because I'm patient, honest, and treat every learner as an individual. I know that everyone learns at their own pace, and I'm happy to adapt my approach to your needs. I've helped nervous drivers find their confidence, mature learners pass after years of avoiding the wheel, and experienced drivers refresh their skills after a long break. With me, you'll learn to drive safely, confidently, and with a clear understanding of what it means to be a responsible driver.

Hi, I'm William MacIntosh. I've taught driving for 6 years, and I believe that learning to drive should be about competence, not just compliance. I work with learners of all ages — including those who've had bad experiences, left it late, or simply want to learn properly the first time. My lessons are clear, structured, and focused on safety. We start with controls and awareness, then move to handling junctions, roundabouts, parallel parking, and eventually motorway driving. I teach you to read the road, not just react to it. I want you to understand what's happening around you and how to make smart, safe decisions in any situation. I'm straightforward and encouraging — I'll tell you where you need to improve, but always with respect and support. I drive a manual car with dual controls, giving you added safety as you build your skills.
