About Lillian
I am an enthusiastic educator holding a Bachelor of Education and seven years of professional Spanish teaching experience. My journey as a tutor started because I wanted to share the beautiful culture of the Hispanic world. I remember working with a retired couple who wanted to buy a vacation home in Costa Rica.
We focused our energy on real estate vocabulary, daily conversation, and essential travel Spanish phrases for months. They successfully managed their entire property purchase without needing a translator, which made me incredibly proud. I bring a warm, patient, and highly encouraging energy to every tutoring session I conduct.

I implement a communicative language teaching approach that places functional conversation at the center of our study plan. We build vocabulary using vivid contextual themes that relate directly to your personal life and career. Pronunciation guidance is integrated into every speech exercise to help you develop a highly authentic accent.
Grammar rules are taught through practical context rather than boring memorization of endless conjugation tables. We practice reading comprehension using short stories, advertisements, and authentic cultural articles from Spanish magazines. Writing assignments are tailored to help you produce clear paragraphs for school assignments or travel journals.
We utilize audio recordings of native speakers to dramatically enhance your functional listening skills over time. My curriculum supports students preparing for school exams, university courses, or official DELE language assessments. We will practice realistic travel Spanish role-play scenarios so you feel prepared to navigate any foreign city.
