About Grace
As a mom, wife, and educator, I believe professionalism starts before a lesson is ever taught. It begins in the way you listen to the student, their family, and create an educational plan together that meets their child where they are. This creates a safe, effective, and inspirational learning environment that the student and their family feel comfortable and valued in. Keeping reliable and relevant data on student progress that is shared with families allows for an effective learning environment that holds the educator accountable and helps families and educators to work together to best meet the student where they are and create a plan that helps the students the most. As an educator, I value student and family involvement in the learning process and the teamwork it takes to help students succeed and reach their goals.

With experience in teaching young learners K-2nd grade, in small group and whole group lessons, I use various visuals and other materials to scaffold lessons. This allows me to meet learners where they are, to allow them to engage in the learning in ways that fit best for their learning styles, while challenging them to reach their full potential. I believe students learn best when they are valued by their educator and the educator values the students' interests, strengths, weaknesses, and adapts lessons to the students and creates student-centered lessons.
