About Elva
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music with a specialization in vocal performance, which laid the foundation for my deep understanding of the human voice and its expressive potential. My formal education included intensive training in vocal technique, music theory, and performance, giving me the tools to guide others in developing their own unique voice. This academic background continues to inform my teaching approach, blending technique with artistry. Over the past 7 years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students of varying ages and skill levels. From complete beginners just discovering their voice to more experienced singers looking to refine their technique, I tailor each lesson to meet individual needs. I have also worked with students preparing for auditions, competitions, and live performances, helping them gain both technical skills and stage confidence. In my own musical journey, I’ve performed across different genres including classical, pop, and musical theater, which allows me to bring stylistic versatility to my lessons. I believe that understanding vocal health and expressive interpretation is just as important as mastering scales or breath control. I focus on creating a learning space where students can explore and enjoy their voice without fear of judgment. Teaching singing is incredibly rewarding for me because it’s about more than just music—it’s about helping people discover confidence, presence, and emotional connection. I strive to support each student in building not only strong vocal skills but also a lasting love for singing.

My singing lessons are carefully designed to nurture both vocal ability and artistic expression. Each session begins with targeted warm-up routines and exercises that develop breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal range. Whether you're an absolute beginner or have some prior training, we focus on building healthy technique as the foundation of your voice.
As we progress, I introduce musicality through dynamics, phrasing, and tone quality. Students explore different vocal styles, from classical to contemporary, depending on their interests. We work on song interpretation and emotional delivery to help each singer find their unique sound and build confidence in performance. I tailor repertoire selections to suit voice type, level, and personal goals.
In addition to technical training, lessons often incorporate ear training, basic music theory, and stage presence techniques. This well-rounded approach supports singers in developing not just skill, but understanding and artistic sensitivity. For those preparing for auditions, exams, or live performance, I offer coaching on presentation and vocal stamina as well.
Every student’s journey is different, so my teaching style is adaptive and encouraging. I create a supportive environment where singers feel free to experiment and grow. My goal is to help each student not only improve their voice, but also connect more deeply with the music they love to sing.
