About Sonny

I have been doodling since I was 5. By the age of 8, I did my first comic strip (unpublished), and by high school, I already knew I wanted to be an artist! I ended up at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, where I got my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. After a few years working at local ad agencies, I moved to Chicago, Illinois to fulfill my lifelong dream of making it in the USA. And along the way, I kept fine-tuning my caricature skills via our local parish through their public festivals, fairs and benefit shows. And in my retirement phase, I continue to teach acrylic painting sessions at home. I hope we can get creative together!
