About Sajal

I am an educated, experienced and passionate psychologist with a desire to help others and contribute to advancing the field through teaching and applied practice.

I hold a Master's degree in Psychology from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, where I earned a gold medal for consistently excellent academic performance. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Political Science from Gargi College, University of Delhi.

Throughout my studies, I pursued knowledge across diverse subfields of psychology like clinical, counseling, child, developmental, neuro, cognitive and experimental psychology. I have also taken several online courses from prestigious universities to keep enhancing my knowledge.

In addition to my academic qualifications, I have significant research experience. I have published papers in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international conferences, and contributed chapters to books. My research has investigated highly relevant topics to contemporary society.

Beyond the classroom, I have worked extensively with individuals from all walks of life through various clinical, counseling and teaching placements. This includes assisting children, adolescents, adults and families through assessment, intervention, guidance and outreach efforts.

I am adept at utilizing psychological principles, analytical skills, clinical judgement and decision-making to effectively help those confronting mental health challenges. I obtained high scores on English proficiency exams, allowing me to serve diverse populations and teach to global standards.

About the lesson

My psychology classes will be insightful and thought-provoking for students. Given my strong academic foundation in core areas of psychology through my bachelors and masters degrees, I will be able to teach concepts clearly and address fundamental questions.

Students will benefit from my continual efforts to expand and update my knowledge through various online courses from top universities on specialized topics. I will bring cutting-edge information and perspectives to the classroom.

My experience conducting psychological research and publishing papers will add a research-oriented dimension. I will emphasize the process of systematically investigating issues and communicating findings. Presenting at conferences has enhanced my presentation skills that I can utilize to engage students.

With my diverse clinical and practical experience working in different settings assisting diverse populations, I will bring real-world application to the theories. I will share practical learning and skills I have gained through assessment, counseling and intervention work.

My proficiency in English certified at a very high level means lectures will be delivered fluently without any language barriers. Students will have no difficulty comprehending psychological concepts.
