Techniques and Teaching Methodology
My teaching approach combines traditional and modern techniques to keep lessons exciting and effective. I use a mix of Suzuki and Kodály methods, emphasizing ear training, sight-reading, and musical theory. Lessons typically run for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your child’s age and level. Shorter lessons keep younger students engaged, while longer sessions are perfect for more advanced learners or those preparing for AMEB exams.
Qualifications and Experience
With a Master’s degree in piano performance and over 10 years of teaching experience, I have successfully mentored numerous students from beginners to intermediate levels. My students consistently achieve excellent results in AMEB exams, and many develop a lifelong love for music.
