I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and I have 13 years' experience in the classroom. I have taught at all levels of school and have ample experience with various levels of disabilities and learning needs. I love my profession and seeing growth in my students from the smallest achievements to large leaps in skills. I am familiar with many different types and levels of intervention support and methods. Skills Covered- Academic- reading comprehension, writing, math concepts Life Skills- Social interaction, time management, social settings in and outside of the school setting Regular progress monitoring Lesson Structure Warm Ups-Brief activity to engage student Review-Go over prior knowledge Instruction- teach a new skill or reinforce concepts Practice- Guided and independent practice Wrap-up Summary, feedback, and assignments Lessons are for all levels pre-k through 12th grade special education
