Leslie Bell was my high school Geometry teacher, and honestly one of the best (if not the best) math teachers I've ever had. She alternates great between lecturing and hands-on instruction, and definitely cares a lot for her students.

I took geometry with Ms. Bell sophomore year of high school and trigonometry my senior year. She is incredibly attentive to students and is always so understanding and clear in her explanations. She took sometimes difficult equations and broke them down into very easy to understand concepts that students who struggled with math usually (me) could understand. She’s one of the best math teachers I’ve ever had.

Her teaching format is comprehensive!

I knew Leslie from my time at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep in San Francisco. Leslie was an amazing math teacher that helped me to understand complex and advanced math formulas and skills. Leslie taught me three courses including Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus & Geometry. She was a genius in all three subjects, and was truly amazing at ensuring that I understood every aspect no matter how long it took. Leslie went above and beyond the call of a normal teacher to ensure that there was no idea or concept that I didn't know 100%. Leslie was quick to change lesson plans and adopt to my custom needs when I needed it, and always made sure I felt comfortable moving to the next topic. For Leslie, teaching wasn't about getting it done or moving on, but instead it was about making sure the student understands the concepts. Leslie is a teach I whole heartedly recommend to any student because she makes sure that every part of the formula, concept, or problem is fully worked out and solved so that you never feel pressured about not understanding something. Leslie is the best!

Leslie was a taught my precalc class in highschool at shc where I was a new transfer student. I always had struggled with math before but she made the class fun and learned a lot from her!
