About Felicity

I am a dedicated guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching 200-300 students, each with unique learning needs and musical goals. My approach to teaching is rooted in personalized learning, where I tailor each lesson to match the individual style, pace, and interests of my students. This ensures that every student not only learns the technical skills required but also develops a genuine passion for playing the guitar. I focus on building strong foundational skills while also incorporating creative techniques, helping students explore different genres, styles, and improvisation. My goal is to foster both technical proficiency and emotional expression through music. With a commitment to ongoing improvement and innovation, I strive to make each lesson enjoyable and enriching. Whether you're learning for fun or aiming to take your guitar skills to the next level, I am here to guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My teaching strategy for guitar revolves around integrity, accountability, creativity, real-life examples, and collaboration to create a well-rounded learning experience. I prioritize honesty and transparency in every lesson, ensuring that students receive constructive feedback and guidance. Accountability is key—I help students set realistic goals and stay motivated, ensuring steady progress.

Creativity drives my approach, allowing students to experiment with different genres and techniques, making learning engaging and fun. I incorporate real-life examples and case studies from popular music to connect theory with practical application. Collaboration is at the heart of my lessons, where students and I work together to solve musical challenges and create unique interpretations of pieces.

Along with guitar, I also offer guidance in music theory, performance techniques, and ear training, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mastering the instrument.

With over 12 years of exp, I teach classical, jazz, electric, bass, and acoustic guitar to all levels. I help students develop a deep passion for guitar and guide them toward musical excellence.
