About Carlos Eduardo
Photography is more than a hobby to me—it has been a lifelong pursuit spanning over four decades of continuous learning and hands-on experience. Having worked with both film and digital cameras across a wide range of photographic styles and environments, I understand not only the technical aspects of photography but also the creative process behind making compelling images. My approach to teaching is patient, practical, and tailored to each student's goals and experience level. My goal is to give you the confidence and skills to create photographs you'll be proud of long after our lessons are over.

My passion for photography began in July 1980, when my father gave me my first camera for my nineteenth birthday—a beautiful manual 35mm Voigtländer film camera. That gift sparked a lifelong journey behind the lens. Since then, I have owned and worked with numerous cameras across different formats, brands, and technologies, from traditional film to today's digital systems. Photography has accompanied me through my travels to many countries around the world, experiences made possible in part by my father, who lived in Europe for most of his life and encouraged my two greatest passions: exploring the world and capturing it through photographs. Today, I enjoy sharing that lifetime of knowledge with others. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or looking to improve your skills, I'll help you understand how to see light, composition, and storytelling in a way that will transform your photography.
