To maximize student fluency and progress, I apply the EDGE method: Explain (minimally), Demonstrate, Go (the Student does it), Evaluate and try again. I also utilize simulation and immersion to the max. Whether I'm teaching languages or area studies and teaching skills, I believe in helping the student develop and maintain a future vision of themselves with that skill, growing as a person and serving others.
