About Alexandra-Maria

I'm a Dublin-based photographer who also works in the film industry as a Costume Designer. Born and raised in Romania, I graduated in Journalism, and since college, I have acquired an immersive way of expressing myself through photography. I began taking digital photography in 2016, and four years later, I ventured into film photography.

My journey in photography began amongst the forests and mountains. Slowly, I became interested in photographing people. Whether it was a concert or a protest, my goal was to capture the mood and the emotions of those present. Every time I take a photo, I feel a sense of fullness throughout my body, and every moment I capture is unique and special.

As an art of observation, I always consider photography as a power to capture one's heart which can change our eyes. It changes what we see and how we see it. When people see more, they appreciate, care and respect more because they value the things they photograph.

About the lesson

Photography lessons will start with your needs. Depending on what you want to learn, the lessons will be specially made for you and how to accumulate the information most simple and enjoyable. In addition to digital photography, we can also work in the area of film photography, where we will learn the basic techniques, as well as what kind of films to use depending on what you want to photograph.
