About Tomás
I taught young people and children in the locality where I lived for 2 years, while finishing high school. I consider myself quite friendly, and I like to use informality and ease as an advantage in class, after all, English is also spoken among friends and family in countries that use the language! I'm 18 years old, I'm from Porto, I have a very flexible schedule and I can teach any student, of any age!

I like to approach English as the fun and versatile language that it is, as I have a huge personal passion for the language.
I bet on more oral classes, of course without underevaluating the written field. I prefer to repeat exercises until I am sure that the student has the knowledge internalized, and I use the translation technique a lot: I believe that when I relate an English phrase/expression to one that they already know in the mother tongue, the student will understand it much more easily .
