About Jacki
I have been a competitive swimmer for over 50 years, and a successful coach of all ages for 40 years. I have coached Y, high school, college, masters, and triathletes, and quickly recognize flaws. Since I swim, I can express how it should feel. Because we all know swimming does not look like it feels or feel like it looks. So, trying to learn from watching videos or reading books cannot replace the immediate feedback one receives from an experienced and knowledgeable coach on deck.

My specialty is with those who "how" how to swim and can make 25 yards. I use that as a base to develop technique into proper form for efficient swimming or racing. My sessions vary from 30 to 40 minutes because there are so many moving parts involved and changes must be layered. I can determine when a swimmer has reached overload on instruction and must stop to practice the new skills before moving to the next.
