About Tristan

I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. My greatest joy comes from bringing people together through group singing. I specialize in family-based vocal classes—duets between parents and children, sibling trios, and small group sessions that make music a shared experience. In my lessons, we explore partner harmonies, call-and-response singing, and engaging sing-along games that build both skill and connection. I focus on creating a fun, welcoming environment where every voice is valued. Whether it’s a lively Disney chorus, a soulful Gospel tune, or a heartfelt Musical Theater number, we find songs that everyone can enjoy. My teaching style is interactive and joyful, emphasizing teamwork, listening, and the magic of singing together. I guide each group to blend, support, and celebrate one another’s sound. Along the way, we build confidence, rhythm, and vocal awareness without losing the laughter. Music becomes a way to bond, to share stories, and to grow as a family. Whether you're new to singing or just want more harmony at home, I'm here to help you create lasting memories. Let’s make music that brings hearts closer—one magical moment at a time.

About the lesson

In my singing lessons, we begin by tuning inward—listening before sound, feeling before form. Through mindfulness and breath work, I guide students to a place of calm presence where the voice can unfold naturally. Gentle meditation and grounding techniques help clear the noise of the mind, allowing true tone to rise.

We use vocal journaling as a quiet space for reflection, noticing shifts in voice, thought, and feeling from day to day. Imagery brings life to sound—students sing in colors, shapes, and sensations, discovering new textures in their tone. Awareness of vocal placement becomes intuitive, not forced, as each student learns where their voice feels most at home.

Phrasing is shaped by intention, emotion, and breath, not just notes. I invite students to connect their inner world to every lyric, every line, every pause. For those seeking emotional grounding or confidence, I offer tools for steadiness and release. For expressive, independent learners, I open space for exploration and discovery without pressure.

Physical ease is nurtured gently, through small shifts in posture, thought, and breath. Every lesson becomes a space to listen deeply, sing honestly, and grow quietly into one’s voice. My goal is not just better singing—but a deeper connection to the self behind the sound.
