About Trevor

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera and have been teaching for over 2 years. My passion is helping singers grow in confidence and find freedom in their voices. I specialize in contemporary worship and gospel music, guiding students to connect spiritually and emotionally with their songs. Many students come to me with stage fright, and I help them overcome it with practical techniques and encouragement. I also teach a range of styles like Pop, Indie, and R&B, giving my students versatility. Vocal health, breath control, and expressive phrasing are at the core of my teaching. I design each lesson to fit the student’s needs and goals. Shy beginners discover their voice step by step with me. Teen worship leaders learn to lead with confidence and connection. Aspiring recording artists develop the artistry and technique needed for performance. I also provide coaching for live worship settings, especially for congregational singing. I believe music should be both disciplined and joyful. Singing is not only about notes, but about sharing emotion and faith. Together, we will grow your voice and celebrate the gift of music in a spiritual journey.

About the lesson

In my teaching, I focus on building a strong technique while nurturing personal expression. Every voice is different, and I want you to embrace your unique timbre. Lessons include training in vocal resonance, projection, and shaping tone. We also work on belting, head voice, and mixed voice so you can sing with variety and confidence. I always emphasize breath support and vocal health, which are the foundation of consistent singing. My approach is supportive and practical, combining exercises with songs you enjoy. For the soloist in training, I help refine your performance skills and stage presence. For the adult beginner, I create a stress-free environment where you can grow at your own pace. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and motivating. Expression is central, so we also focus on singing with emotion and connecting with listeners. Each lesson is designed around your specific needs and goals. Progress comes from steady practice and encouragement.
