About Christopher

I have been playing piano and keyboards for more than 23 years, serving in churches and worship ministries throughout Georgia and Texas. Music has been a significant part of my life, and I am passionate about helping others discover their musical abilities and grow in confidence.

My background is primarily in worship, gospel, and contemporary music. Over the years, I have played for church services, worship teams, choirs, and special events. Through these experiences, I developed a strong ability to play by ear, recognize chord progressions, and learn songs quickly.

What inspired me to teach is seeing how many people want to play piano or sing but feel intimidated by traditional music lessons. Many students believe they need years of theory or advanced music reading before they can play songs they love. I enjoy helping students make music from the very beginning while also building a solid foundation in rhythm, chords, ear training, and music fundamentals.

My teaching approach is encouraging, practical, and tailored to each student. I work especially well with beginners, adult learners, aspiring worship musicians, and students who want to learn by ear in addition to developing music-reading skills.

In addition to piano instruction, I also offer beginner vocal coaching focused on confidence, pitch, breathing, and worship or contemporary singing styles.

My goal is not only to teach notes and songs, but to help students develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong enjoyment of music. Whether you want to play for yourself, your church, your family, or simply fulfill a lifelong dream, I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make learning music practical, encouraging, and enjoyable. I believe students learn best when they can immediately apply what they are learning to songs they love. Rather than focusing only on exercises or theory, I combine ear training, music fundamentals, and real-world playing skills to help students build confidence from the very beginning.

My Teaching Approach

Every student learns differently, so I customize lessons based on your goals, experience level, and musical interests. Whether you want to play worship music, gospel, contemporary songs, or simply learn piano or singing as a hobby, lessons are tailored to help you succeed.

My teaching combines:
