About Selah
With over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s in French Language and Literature, I help beginners explore French through hobbies and leisure. I bring patience, humor, and encouragement to every lesson. Project-based learning, visual aids, and simple stories make grammar and vocabulary easy to understand. Whether you enjoy knitting, painting, or gardening, we practice French in ways that connect to your passions. My goal is to help students gain confidence expressing their hobbies in French. Lessons are tailored to individual pace, interests, and goals. I celebrate every achievement and make learning playful and rewarding. Students leave lessons motivated and eager to continue practicing. Together, we turn your hobbies into opportunities for language growth. French becomes fun, creative, and personally meaningful.

My teaching approach blends French language learning with art and history. Students practice describing paintings, sculptures, and architecture while discussing historical events and cultural topics. Lessons emphasize interactive learning and rich vocabulary. Grammar and pronunciation are taught gradually to support fluent, confident speech. I work closely with Travelers and Heritage Learners, guiding them step-by-step toward clear, natural expression. Students learn to articulate opinions, observations, and personal interpretations. Visual aids and authentic materials make sessions engaging and memorable. Lessons are tailored to your interests and learning pace. You’ll develop the skills to discuss museums, exhibitions, and heritage sites comfortably. I encourage curiosity, discussion, and reflection in every lesson. Sessions combine technical language development with meaningful cultural exploration. Students build confidence and expressive ability in French. Together, we’ll bring art, history, and culture to life in your conversations.
