About Kevin
15 years of formal Parisian French training used to interpret in high level military assignments and in high tech. Graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where I earned the "Certificat Pratique de Francais Commercial et Economique" from the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris.
I spoke French in the home growing up, interpreted for ranking dignitaries while serving in a task force for years in the Mediterranean, and hosted French Major Account customers in an 18 year career at Hewlett-Packard.
I am a member of the National Language Service Corps.

I employ TPRS, teaching proficiency through reading and story telling emphasizing vocabulary and addressing grammar in the context of conversational skill development. I am not teaching you to read advanced French literature, nor focusing on writing skills, but rather to speak and understand the language for enjoyable conversational experience especially helpful for first time travelers to France. Grammar will focus upon key verb conjugation and the importance of proper pronunciation.
