About Itumeleng
I am Itumeleng Mokoena. To be honest I am really shy yet I have never really had it affect me like that. I love maths, cricket and movies, rumour has it that I got out my death bed to go write my University maths exam. My relationship with EGD has been excellent, throughout my high school and university, my marks can attest to that. It allowed me so many opportunities and soft skills that till this day I utilise. I often describe EGD as the subject of the see’r, if your interests lie in anything visual, the fundamentals of the subjects are what you need.

I believe in exposing new possibilities and new ideas to learners, and how they can build off those to create their own. Therefore in most my lesson I refrain from using boring and absolute content. My skills in CAD and Blender allow me to teach beyond the orthodox EGD on paper, of conventional shapes and prisms. I teach learners how to create things in their imagination using these softwares, for instance I created my own 3D title cards, toys and 3D cgi environments. This creates an interest in the subject and the possibilities it may create for them.
