About Ogboi

Ogboi Favour | First Class Computer Science Graduate | Machine Learning Engineer

I am a Data Scientist and Python Developer focused on designing and deploying end-to-end AI systems that solve real-world problems. I graduated with a First Class B.Sc. in Computer Science (4.61/5.0 CGPA), combining strong theoretical foundations with hands-on experience in building scalable, production-oriented solutions.

My work spans across machine learning, data pipelines, and applied AI, with experience in developing and optimizing models for tasks such as computer vision and natural language processing. As the Lead Machine Learning Engineer at EcoSeek AI, I contributed to building a natural language-driven product discovery system, integrating NLP pipelines with intelligent search and recommendation components.

Beyond model development, I am interested in the full lifecycle of AI systems — from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model deployment and performance monitoring.

I also served as Chapter Lead for Data Science Nigeria (DSN) at FUPRE, where I scaled the community by over 150 members within four months. I organized and led weekly technical sessions focused on bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical implementation in data science and machine learning.

My goal is to contribute to the advancement of AI in Africa by building systems that are not only technically sound but also impactful and scalable.

About the lesson

Welcome to an exciting journey in the world of coding! I'm here to guide you through various paths, including web development, data analytics , and more, while covering a range of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C, C++, C#, Java, and Python.

First, I try to know my students well and better, and the goal is to give them quality content.

Thought-provoking questions that will inspire students to think for themselves and become more independent learners will be given after class.

Students are allowed to ask questions and investigate their ideas to help improve their problem-solving skills as well as gain a deeper understanding of all concepts.

Materials in the form of (photos and pdf files) will be given to students for free to guide them in learning.

If a student has a personal computer, it will be a good experience, and if he/she does not have it there is also no problem as long as a mobile phone is available with them.
