Personal Statment Tutoring:
Places at universities can be very competitive, so it is essential that your personal statement stands out. The majority of courses will ask you to write one, and it is an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding and passion for the degree you will be studying.
I understand that no two people are the same. Therefore, I will get to know your own learning style and help you achieve your goals. Sessions can be over teams and email and the length varies (30min-1hour per session).
Dissertation Tutoring:
Ah the dreaded dissertation. I have written two throughout my university career and have felt a sigh of relief when they were finally done. However, when I first started, I felt completely overwhelmed, not knowing how to start and I wish I had someone who had been through the process before!
Through working with students, I have helped them understand how to begin writing and where to start looking for literature.
