About Vy
I graduated college with a BFA in Studio Art: Drawing and Painting, a BFA in Visual Studies (Art Education), and a minor in Art History. I was previously a middle school art teacher and am currently a full-time artist. My passion for teaching has always stayed with me, though, so I'm excited to connect with you and watch your art flourish!

Lessons and projects will be built off of your objectives to ensure that we will always be working towards your artistic goals! Art vocabulary, art history, introduction of foreign medium, referencing other artists, color theory, etc. are all elements that could be taught within a lesson (as needed) in order to to supplement learning.
I specialize in 2D mediums such as oil/acrylic paint, charcoal, oil/chalk pastels, graphite, color pencils, digital art, etc. Whether it is to improve your technical abilities, assist with your art portfolio, or any other type of objective, I'm excited to guide you there. My lessons are for all ages and levels - there is no experience required.
