About Adrian
Hi, I’m Adrian, a Senior Cyber Engineer. I started my career as a web developer, then moved into cloud and security engineering, where I built and secured cloud infrastructure for large financial services clients. Today I support a federal agency’s cloud systems, working on FedRAMP compliance, vulnerability management, and security risk remediation.
I didn’t take a straight path into tech. I started earning my Associate’s in Computer Information Systems, and went on to complete my Bachelor’s in Computer Science. I know what it’s like to learn this field one step at a time, and I know how confusing it can feel at the beginning. That’s exactly why I enjoy teaching it.

I’m a working cybersecurity professional with more than four years in the industry as a cloud and security engineer. Today I’m a Senior Cyber Engineer supporting federal cloud systems, where I handle security compliance, vulnerability tracking, and remediation. Before that, I built and secured cloud infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines. I hold a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from UTSA along with CompTIA Security+, CySA+, and multiple AWS certifications, but my lessons come from real, hands-on work.
What I teach:
Cybersecurity fundamentals and how real security teams operate
Cloud security in AWS and Azure, including IAM, logging, and secure configuration
CI/CD pipelines and how to build security scanning into them (code, dependency, and container scanning)
Vulnerability scanning, interpreting results, and prioritizing fixes
Certification prep for Security+, CySA+, and AWS exams

We start with your goals, whether that’s a class, a cert, or a career move.
I explain the concept in plain language with real examples from the field.
You get hands-on, working through labs and real tools while I guide you.
We wrap up with a recap and next steps so you keep progressing between sessions.
