About Eileen
Teaching exists because I enjoy watching people find their own unique voice on the fretboard. I started as a self-taught guitarist and spent 13 years gigging in the Latin pop circuit. That path led me to work with 156 students including professionals and those preparing for high-level exams. My 7 years of teaching experience help me explain complex modes and rhythm guitar.
I often integrate ear training into our technical drills to keep things sharp. It is simple. I love seeing the moment a student finally masters a tricky solo. Helping you refine your acoustic technique is a genuinely great part of my week.

You reach a stage where your hands move across the neck without needing to think about the mechanics of the notes. I recall the first time I sat down to practice a new scale in a small garage in Mexico. We apply my experience with gigging to help you read tabs and understand music theory in a practical way. Improvisation and soloing become intuitive when we focus on power chords and tuning maintenance.
Monthly recorded reviews of progress serve as a map for where we have been and where we are going. These check-ins provide a clear picture of your development. The results speak for themselves.
