I am an agency-represented illustrator, muralist, and fine artist with over 10 years experience. I would love to share some of my insight with you all and share my passion for teaching :) I have a huge passion for learning and sharing knowledge, and it brings me so much joy to help people find their creative stride! Creating an exciting and encouraging environment to learn is my top priority! I have lesson plans for all skill levels from total beginners through high levels of experience. For a beginner lesson plan we will learn all modalities of the creative process: - how to learn the art of composition - the power of value and contrast - shading techniques - essential color theory - exercises in realism and abstract thinking - anatomy and perspective - drawing from reference - exploring the use of different mediums and surfaces - more specific interests as the student develops their own artistic voice! I also have special classes I offer in the expertise areas I know well: - Deep dive into color pencil as a medium - Realism techniques - Mural creation - Intro into spray painting - Creating your art school application portfolio - Freelance Illustration Portfolio Insight - Portfolio Reviews and Advice - Finding your creative style
