About Kenny
Sight transposition and ear training form the bedrock of my musical instruction. Memorization techniques remain essential for internalizing complex classical repertoire.
I have guided 471 students through the nuances of piano performance since leaving regional chamber work. My BMus from Rice University Shepherd School informs my perspective on pedaling technique and music theory. I find deep satisfaction in correcting posture and hand position, ensuring that scales and arpeggios are executed with maximum efficiency.
Sight playing is a fundamental part of our routine. I prefer a focused environment where each technical challenge is met with patience.
