About Max
My form of teaching is to examine subjects holistically, and to reinforce ideas with cross cutting concepts. My job is not just to educate, but to inspire and continue to develop my students, creativity and passion for science. I enjoy making learning fun and igniting curiosity.

I graduated from undergrad in 2015 and decide to spend 3 months backpacking through Southeast Asia. I came back to the States and spent 18 months working on an aquaponics farm and starting my Masters. I took a break half way through and spent 4 months backpacking through Europe and North Africa followed by an 8 month stint in Americorps in the Southwest. I moved back home, finished my Masters in Bio and have been teaching since. I have taught 5th grade life sciences, 6th grade earth science, 9th grade physics, 10th grade chemistry, and 11th grade biology.
