About Ben
Ben Patrick Holden is fantasy writer from the South Pennines, now living in Chopwell, North East England. He has written award winning screenplays for short films and web-series, video games, prose and poetry. In 2008 he earned a 1st Class Honours degree in Writing for Video Games and has been working hard to improve his craft ever since.

The goal of the lessons is to figure out what excites you as a writer and focus the exercises, reading, and short lectures around those areas where the energy is, ideally working toward completion of a short story, novel, screenplay, game script, graphic novel, or collection of poetry.
Tips and suggestions on how to stay motivated and cultivate good writing habits and practices are also available.
The ratio between writing process and craft technique is tailored to each student.
