About Alice
I graduated from Vassar College and have been tutoring in Los Angeles for the past 18 years. In addition, I have done group tutoring and led book clubs with elementary school students. I have volunteered with Young Storytellers Foundation, helping elementary school students write screenplays. When I'm not tutoring, I am screenwriting and doing standup comedy.

Everyone learns differently, and this is my approach to tutoring. With 18 years of experience as a tutor with a range of learning styles , I have learned that each student is an individual and needs to be treated as such. I usually spend our first session getting to know them and setting goals. I work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, specializing in reading and writing.
