About Seth

Hi! I’m a writing and history tutor who believes learning should be exciting, not boring. With over 25 years of teaching experience and special training in the Orton-Gillingham approach, I know how to make tricky concepts click—especially for students with dyslexia, ADHD, or other language-based learning differences. My lessons are full of energy, humor, and activities that keep you engaged while building real skills. Whether we’re bringing history to life with stories or making writing feel creative and doable, my goal is to help you feel confident, capable, and proud of your work.

About the lesson

Writing & History Tutoring That Actually Clicks I don’t just teach—I make learning an experience. With 25+ years in the classroom, Orton-Gillingham training, and a proven track record with students who learn differently, I know how to turn “I don’t get this” into “I’ve got this!” What You’ll Get in Every Lesson: Engaging, energetic teaching—history told like a story, writing taught like a skill you want to use. Multi-sensory strategies—visuals, hands-on activities, and real-world examples that make ideas stick. Personalized plans—every session is tailored to your strengths, needs, and learning style. Confidence boosts—you won’t just learn the material; you’ll believe in your ability to succeed. Perfect For: Middle & high school students Students with dyslexia, ADHD, or other language-based learning differences Anyone who wants writing to feel easier and history to feel alive How It Works: We start with a quick warm-up, dive into one core skill or concept, and practice it in ways that keep you thinking, talking, and creating. We wrap with a quick review so you leave knowing exactly what you’ve mastered—and what’s next. If you’re ready for tutoring that’s lively, supportive, and results-driven, I’m ready to help you shine.
